I offer one-on-one training sessions. These individualised training sessions allow us to focus exclusively on you and your dog’s unique needs and challenges.

Residential Training

Our residential training program is designed for those seeking an immersive and intensive training experience for their gundogs. This option is subject to availability.

Game Training

These days offer an ideal chance for handlers with limited game access to join a walked-up day shooting alongside their dogs. Open to steady dogs, shooting and non-shooting handlers.

Meet the trainer

Meet the trainer

Justin Clarke has been training, trialing and working gundogs for over 25 years. During this time, he has had the good fortune of making up Field Trial Champions and numerous field trial winning dogs as well as judging many trials himself. Justin considers himself extremely fortunate to work his dogs of some of the UK’s finest sporting estates. He has also written many articles for publications including the Shooting Gazette and Gundog Journal.

Located within a picturesque setting Filching Gun Dogs has access to various training grounds with the main area located near Friston Forest, East Sussex within the South Downs National Park.
